REGIONAL REPORTS ON CHILD HEALTH: ADVANCES & ISSUES -
Plenary Session in which fourteen Health Ministers or alternates
participated - Chair: Hon. Diane Marleau, Minister of Health Canada
We have taken longer than predicted. I would like to ask all my
colleagues to roll all their comments into one and we will be
going around the table only once rather than the predicted two
times in what had been suggested originally. I'm very happy to
welcome so many of my colleagues from around the world and I look
forward to their comments. I'm going to start with my colleague
Dr. Ramon de la Fuente from Mexico, although I have a lot of respect
for my colleague one of the reasons why I am starting with him
I understand that he has to leave shortly and we are very interested
in hearing from him so we will ask him to begin and after that
I will follow in alphabetical order, I will go with Mozambique
and so on.
